A Special Sealing

We had an amazing weekend.  Shauna and Kyle and their children were all sealed in the temple on Saturday.  I was able to go to the temple on Friday night when Kyle went through for the first time.  I've never seen such a big smile on his face! I loved it!  Saturday was very spiritual.  We had the whole family and many of their friends all together in the sealing room.  There was not one empty seat.  One of the walls of the sealing room was all stained glass and you could tell it was the dark, slightly rainy day outside.  The moment that Shauna and Kyle entered the sealing room, the sun immediately filled the room.  The sealing was very special, although I couldn't see much through the tears in my eyes because I had a perfect view of the pure joy in Shauna's face through the whole thing.  It was so great to witness the re-commitment of their love for each other that day.  As soon as they were sealed, the room got even brighter, filled with more sunlight.  We all felt their Dad's presence in that room that day and knew how happy he was for his little girl, along with their mom.  When all their kids came into the sealing room, dressed in their white clothes, they looked like little angels.  They sat with their parents and the sealer mentioned that we had a little glimpse of what heaven was like.  The kids did great and were adorable as they were sealed to their parents.  I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life.  I am grateful for the temple and to have so many so close to me that I can attend whenever I want.  I am grateful to know that no matter what happens, I can be with my family for eternity through the sealing power available in the temples of God.  Thank you Shauna and Kyle for bringing our family together this weekend and for the ability to renew my testimony.
