October 1: Colton successfully rolled
over from back to front. 5 months old today.
Can't get enough of these pictures! Tired girl! |
October 3-5: We spent the weekend in AZ
to celebrate the September birthdays. We had a family birthday party
for Emmalee, Juliet, Kristi, and Steve. The girls got bubbles,
play-dough, clothes, and dress up jewelry, as well as other fun
girly things.
October 8: Took the kids to the
Thanksgiving Point Farm for their Wizard of Oz themed Halloween
festivities.
Look who's big enough for the exersaucer! |
October 10: Took Juliet to music time
at the Lehi Library. They sing lots of action songs, play
instruments, and read a book. She loves it and loves to dance to the
music.
Such a cute little face after a bath |
She thinks it is for her! |
October 12: After not selling the boat,
we decided to keep it for another season, so we winterized it and
took it to dry storage at Utah Lake.
October 13: Chase took Juliet to
Cabella's and they looked at the fish. She was afraid of them when
they swam close to her so she would duck behind the basket.
October 15: Took Juliet to story time
at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. They read a story about dogs and
made dog masks.
Meltdowns on the way home from the park. Got to love 2 year olds! |
October 16: Went to see Brandy Nelson's
new kitties. Juliet loved them.
October 17: Took the kids to the
Halloween party at the farm. They wore costumes and got to play
games for some candy. We also picked out our pumpkin to make a
jack-o-lantern that night (not that we actually got around to carving said pumpkin!).
October 18: Our first time ever hiring
a babysitter to go out on a date! We went riding our quads at the top
of American Fork Canyon. We had a great time!

Sushi for lunch today! |
October 20: Took the kids to the
dinosaur museum. Juliet thought it was weird that the computer
monitor wasn't touch screen!
October 24: Took the kids to the
Halloween Party at the Lehi Legacy Center. Juliet got to play little
games and get toys as prizes and then got to trick or treat. She was
pretty scared of the dark halls and scary decorations.
October 25: Our ward/neighborhood trunk
or treat. We had some great chili and cornbread and then the kids
got to trick or treat around the different car trunks. It was fun
and the weather was so wonderful!
October 29: Took Juliet to the farm again. She rode the pony all by herself! She didn't want to get off after.
October 30: We joined Jaymie and Emmy
Farr at the Library for the Halloween puppet show. The kids love it.
They do a fun action song in between the shows so the kids can dance
and get wiggles out.
October 31: Took the kids to get
pictures taken at JCPennys for Colton's 6 months and with Halloween
costumes on. They turned out so cute!
Went up to Riverton at dinner time for
soup and to go trick-or-treating with cousins. As always, it was fun
to see old neighbors and show them how the kids are growing up. It
was also nice that Juliet was old enough to get us some candy!
