January 1: Colton turns 8 months old!
January 8: Juliet decided to play hair
dresser with Colton. Oh, the life of a brother to older sisters!
Juliet was given lots of dress up
princess costumes from her babysitter. She loves dressing up in
them!
January 25: We went down to Payson to
visit our old neighbors and good friends, the Oylers. It was so good
to see them again and catch up. We absolutely love their family.
They are such a good example to us. They purchased a beautiful home
that has an amazing view of the new Payson temple.
January 26: Because our basement keeps
flooding when it rains a lot, the landscapers decided to dig up our
backyard to fix our drainage issue. They routed all the downspouts
to a 50 gallon take surrounded by a french drain in our front yard.
January 28: It was free day at the zoo!
They do it in the winter when the zoo is less busy, but because it
has been such a mild winter, this was the perfect day to take the
kids. We spent several hours there, most of them Colton was asleep.
Juliet loved the animals and had a hard time leaving.
Since we decided to keep the boat, we
figured we needed to get the vinyl on some of the seats repaired.
After getting a quote, we decided we could try it on our own. It
turned out pretty good, in our opinion. And we saved a ton of money
by doing it ourselves.
Other pictures from January:
The kids were laughing hysterically attacking me |
Juliet was really sad that Grandma and Grandpa left to go home.
Playing with William |
Someday he's gonna hate me for getting a picture of him playing with a doll house! |
He climbed in there all by himself! |
Playing with Emmy |
Looks comfy! |
She loves to pretend to be asleep and yell "boo!" as loud as possible.
First time pulling himself up.
She was excited to go on a trip with Grandma Straw
